The BBQ & RC Weekend 2026 is one of the most unique events in the Philippine RC calendar this year — and it marks the grand opening of Mudace Quezon, the newest branch of one of the country's most beloved RC crawler parks.

Mudace Quezon Opens Its Doors
Mudace RC Park has been a cornerstone of the Philippine RC crawler community, and the opening of its Quezon branch is a major milestone for the hobby south of Manila. The venue at RAFTEL Building in Pagbilao will host a full RC crawling competition on Day 2 of the weekend — a proper send-off for the new park and a celebration for the growing RC community in Quezon province.
If you've been to Mudace before, you know what to expect: challenging terrain, good vibes, and a community that takes the hobby seriously while keeping it fun. The Quezon branch promises the same energy in a brand-new location.
Smoked BBQ Class by Smokehauz ni Mang Kulas
Sharing the weekend with the RC competition is a hands-on Smoked BBQ Class by Smokehauz ni Mang Kulas — covering two of the most celebrated cuts in BBQ: Ribs and Brisket.
Classes are kept small (maximum 20 students, minimum 15) so every participant gets real hands-on time. Here are the options:
Ribs Class — ₱5,000/person
Saturday, Nov 21 · 8 AM–3 PM
Ribs preparation, trimming, seasoning, smoking and finishing. A full day dedicated to mastering pork ribs the Smokehauz way.
Brisket Class — ₱5,000/person
Starts Saturday, Nov 21 · 6 PM (finishing & tasting on Sunday)
Brisket trimming, seasoning, fire management, smoking, resting and slicing. This overnight session is for those serious about the king cut of BBQ.
All-In BBQ Camp — ₱8,000/person
Both hands-on training sessions, RC crawling access, gym access, and an overnight camping option. You save ₱2,000 compared with taking both classes separately — and you get the full BBQ & RC Weekend experience.

RC Crawling Competition — Mudace Quezon Grand Opening
Sunday, November 22 is RC day. Registration opens at 8 AM and the competition kicks off at 10 AM.
- Entry fee: ₱750/person — includes entry to ONE open competition category, one Smoked BBQ meal, and an event token.
- Additional categories: +₱150 each.
- Competition categories and mechanics will be announced separately by Mudace Quezon.
RC participants can also add BBQ observer passes to their package — ₱200 to watch the Ribs class, ₱300 for Brisket, or ₱500 for both.

- Pay via QR code — Metrobank or GCash through InstaPay — using your reference code.
- Upload your receipt. Spots are confirmed once payment is verified. Class seats are held for 24 hours.
Refund policy: Full refund if the event is cancelled due to a typhoon or fortuitous event, or if the minimum class size of 15 students is not reached.
Getting There
The venue is RAFTEL Building, Talipan, Pagbilao, Quezon — in Quezon province, roughly 3–4 hours from Metro Manila via STAR Tollway and the Maharlika Highway. If you're staying overnight, bring your camping setup or book a nearby Airbnb (Airbnb fees are separate from the event packages).
