Welcome to RCPinas.com — the home of the RC hobby in the Philippines. These Terms govern your use of the platform. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms.
Don’t use RCPinas to:
You keep ownership of everything you post (photos, posts, build logs, listings, videos, reels, etc.). By posting, you grant RCPinas a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, transcode, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of running the community. You can remove your content at any time; cached or syndicated copies may persist briefly while caches expire.
You are responsible for what you post. Don’t upload content you don’t own the rights to (e.g. someone else’s product photos or video clips used without permission).
RCPinas is a platform for user-generated content. We do not create, curate, or editorially control the posts, photos, videos, listings, or reviews submitted by members. We are not responsible or liable for any user-generated content posted on or through the platform, including its accuracy, completeness, legality, or appropriateness. This intermediary role is consistent with applicable Philippine e-commerce and intermediary liability principles.
RCPinas allows members to upload short RC hobby videos (“Reels”) showcasing builds, runs, and community events. By uploading a video you confirm that:
Videos are transcoded and delivered through our content delivery infrastructure. We reserve the right to remove any video that violates these Terms or degrades platform performance, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in upload privileges being revoked or account termination.
We believe in community-driven moderation but reserve the right to remove, hide, or restrict any content or account at our sole discretion, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Moderation decisions are final. We are not obligated to explain removal decisions, though we will try to communicate bans where practical via your registered email address.
If you believe content on RCPinas infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at safety@rcpinas.com with:
We will act promptly on valid takedown requests, typically within 5 business days. Repeated infringers will have their accounts terminated.
When you use RCPinas, we collect usage data (pages visited, features used, content interactions) to improve the platform experience. This includes:

The blue Verified check next to a username means a moderator reviewed a government ID and live selfie submitted by that user. It is a signal of identity, not a guarantee of trustworthiness or business legitimacy. Always exercise judgement when transacting, even with verified members.
We may revoke a Verified badge at any time if we discover the verification was fraudulent or the user later violates these Terms.
Listings on the Partners page (hobby shops, brands, distributors, venues, media) reflect partnerships approved by our team. Approval means we accepted the partner’s application; it does not imply RCPinas endorses every product, service, event, or claim made by the partner.
User-submitted RC spots, hobby shops, and events are reviewed by moderators before going public. We may decline submissions that are inaccurate, unsafe, or duplicate existing entries. Once published, accuracy of details (hours, addresses, prices) is the submitter’s responsibility.
The AR Size Preview is a visual tool for estimating real-world scale of an RC. Sizes shown are based on manufacturer specifications and may vary slightly from physical products. Use it as a guide, not a measurement.
RCPinas is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Member contributions reflect the views of their authors, not RCPinas. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-submitted spots, shop listings, event details, product reviews, or any other user-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RCPinas, its operators, and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, losses from member-to-member transactions, or any harm arising from user-generated content posted by other members. Our total liability will not exceed PHP 1,000 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold RCPinas, its operators, moderators, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your content, your conduct on the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the E-Commerce Act (RA 8792) and the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173). Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Metro Manila, unless local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes we will notify active users by email or in-app notice where practical. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
