RGT RC is a Chinese brand that produces scale-focused crawlers and trail trucks at budget-friendly prices. In the Philippines, RGT has built a following among hobbyists who want the scale look and trail capability of pricier brands without the premium cost.
RGT's Key Models
- RGT EX86100 — A 1/10 scale 4WD rock crawler with a realistic pickup truck body, oil-filled shocks, and a metal gear transmission. One of the best budget crawlers available in the Philippines and a popular first-crawler recommendation.
- RGT EX86110 — Updated version of the EX86100 with improved suspension and chassis details. More trail-capable out of the box.
- RGT Pioneer — A short-wheelbase 4WD crawler with an aggressive, stripped-down look. Designed for technical crawling lines rather than trail running.
- RGT AT4 — A scale-focused trail truck with a full pickup body and realistic proportions. Popular for hobbyists who want something that photographs well on the trail.
How Does RGT Compare?
RGT sits between toy-grade and true hobby-grade. The EX86100 and EX86110 are genuinely capable trail crawlers — not just toys. They handle Philippine terrain well, parts are available, and the community has documented plenty of upgrade paths for builders who want to push the platform further.
Pricing in the Philippines
RGT models range from ₱3,500–₱8,000 — making them among the most accessible crawlers available locally. Widely available on Shopee, Lazada, and from hobby community sellers.
